The Kelev-Trans company has been established in 1996.
The company’s main role is the weaving and trading of cotton-, and cotton-based fabrics.
During the first three years as a production company, we have mainly woven industrial-use fabrics. We have also woven fabrics used in the furniture industry, textolit production and industrial filters, after which we gradually switched our production line to fabrics that can be used by craftsmen to sew clothing pieces. Now, these fabrics represent about 70% of our production, leaving the rest for the industrial fabrics.
We mainly work by orders, but our stock is always capable of handling any new clients and their needs.
The merchandise can be bought directly from the company(plant location Acațari nr.74B), but we can also ship via post or courier.
Our products are a quite large variety of self-designed and developed fabrics.
For utilization purposes we can provide a fabric weight of 50 – 320 g/m2 . The width of our fabrics ranges from 110 to 160 cm. The company’s capacity is about 20.000 square meters of fabric per month.
We also offer the posiibility of weaving fabrics based on the client’s sample.
The fabrics are manufactured on SOMET Thema 11E type weaving machines, which are capable of producing simple designs like canvas, rips, panama, diagonal, etc. and more complex fabrics with geometric shapes.
There is also the posiibility of weaving multi colored fabrics with 2-4-6 colors.
